We moved to Rimini. We’re going to spend one or two days relaxing. What other things you would expect doing here? Rimini is most famous for 15 km-long sandy beach, over 1,000 hotels and thousands of bars, restaurants and discos. I would add hundreds of markets selling weird souvenirs, second-hand looking clothing, and all that crap.

Still in Rimini. We’re moving from one hotel to another, so it’s good opportunity to fill a gap between check-out and check-in by short trip to San Marino. It’s just about 20 km far from here. San Marino is the world’s oldest republic and Europe’s third smallest state. It lies 657m above sea level with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and Adriatic coast. So we got to city, parked a car off the downtown because today there are lot of visitors. So we’re taking a shuttle to the center – which located is upper on the hill. We’re taking a walk around the old city center. The Three Towers of San Marino are located on the three peaks of Monte Titano in the capital. They are depicted on both the Flag of San Marino and its coat of arms. The three towers are: Guaita, the oldest of the three (it was constructed in the 11th century); the thirteenth-century Cesta, located on the highest of Monte Titano’s summits; and the fourteenth-century Montale, on the smallest of Monte Titano’s summits, still privately owned.
