Today we’re spending a leisure time by catching some sun at the camping’s swimming pool. We had a lunch in local restaurant in Mestre and now we’re back at the pool. Marta’s reading a book she brought. Every now and then I try to snap aircrafts as they take off nearly from above our heads since the camping site neighborhoods with the airport. Of course, Marco Polo airport is not that busy as O’Hare in Chicago, but I took few shoots. We’re also playing sort of catch-me-if-you-can water game. It’s 7pm and we’re taking a shuttle to Venezia harbor. Then we’re taking “People mover” to the bus station where we’re starting our evening walk. It’s getting dark and we’re stumbling along countless number of walkways and foot-bridges. All look same after dark. After listen a few bars of classical music at Piazza San Marco, we decided getting back to catch last shuttle. Time is running out and we’re still getting lost in labyrinth of streets where some don’t appear on a map and actually some spill into a canal or end in a blind alley. Fortunately, even if we didn’t arrive to a bus station on time, bus driver was still hanging around smoking. Thanks. Now we are getting back to the camp as desired.
